Civic participation event in mobility planning
The city of Bayreuth creates a strategic concept for climate friendly mobility. Civic participation is a major part of the process. As a big kick-off event for Bayreuth's activities during the European Mobility Week, the civic participation is going to be introduced and accompanied by the first and second mayor of the city, as well as the Department of Urban Planning.

Program for public schools
We offer a variety of field trip programs including inclusion awareness via wheelchair parcours, workshop for experiencing mobility as a blind person (white cane), guided tour Fairtrade-Town, bicycle tour around the city center and introduction to mobility planning (focused on way to school).

The city quarter "Neuer Weg" will be held car-free on Saturday, September 21, for a street fair and a flea market. In the area, businesses and local clubs are welcomed to join in activities on the streets that promote climate-friendly mobility, considerate behavior in traffic situations and inclusion of physically challenged people.
