“4. Lüleburgaz Bicycle Festival”
Opening of the 4th Lüleburgaz Bicycle Festival and Activation of the Cortege
The exciting festival Lüleburgaz Municipality brought together bicycle enthusiasts from all over Turkey, LÜBIFEST took place on 16, 17 and 18 September at the Lüleburgaz Stars Cycling Academy, which is the only facility of its kind in Turkey and hosts hundreds of bicycle tourists every year.
At the festival; The people of Lüleburgaz were full of fun and action at LÜBİFEST, where concerts, fun bike races, road races, bike tours, slotcars, surprise gift draws and fun competitions took place.

In addition to being an art, music is also used seriously in the field of therapy and treatment. DJ at Lüleburgaz Stars Cycling Academy throughout the day with the thought that people need art and music, which is an important branch of art, in order to get away from the psychological and spiritual effects of the pandemic on them. Citizens had fun and relieved stress with Ata Fidel.
“Children are Happy and Active in Lüleburgaz”
During the European Mobility Week, various activities were organized for children to have fun, feel good, and full of action. Among these activities; inflatable playgrounds, fun tours and competitions were organized with different bikes in the Lüleburgaz Cycling Academy.
“Life with Sports Step-Aerobik”
In order to make the movement visible on human and public health and to raise awareness, we planned and implemented the activity of living together with sports.

“Safe Cycling, Safe Dressing Training”
Within the scope of European Mobility Week of Lüleburgaz Municipality, “Safe Driving and Safe Dressing Training” was given by facility manager İnanç Zorlutuna at Lüleburgaz Stars Cycling Academy. In the training, information was given about the types of bicycles, what to consider when buying a bicycle, and what to consider before and while cycling. In particular, detailed information was given on the things to be considered while cycling at night, the importance of having both fixed and flashing headlights in night driving, and the vital importance of wearing a reflective vest.

Believing in the healing power of universal music, we held the “Ali ALTAY”concert on September 16, 2022 in Lüleburgaz Cycling Academy

“5. Balkan Tennis Tournament”
As part of the 2022 Youth Year activities, together with our volunteer youth living in Lüleburgaz, we planned and implemented a tournament in which athletes from the Balkans aged 14-16 from Lüleburgaz participated, within the scope of the activity intertwined with sports, in order to make the movement visible on human and public health and to raise awareness.

“We Pedal with Health” 1st Stage Cycling Tour
The second day of the 4th Lüleburgaz Cycling Festival, held in the bicycle-friendly city of Lüleburgaz, started with a bicycle tour attended by cycling enthusiasts from all over Turkey. Hundreds of cyclists met in the morning at the Lüleburgaz Stars Cycling Academy. After the meeting, local and foreign cycling enthusiasts organized a tour up to Ertuğrul Village.

“RC Park 2022” 1/8 Buggy Off-Road Season 5th Leg Race (Lüleburgaz Stars RC Track)
As part of the European Mobility Week in Lüleburgaz, the season finale of the RC Park Buggy Race was held at the Lüleburgaz Stars RC Track. In the race where model car enthusiasts took part, the participants sweated to become the champion.
“Come on Kids, Fun Awaits You”
Within the scope of the European Mobility Week, many lively activities were organized where children laughed and had fun. With the slowest bicycle race, mini foot football, the children provided the opportunity to spend their free time having fun.
“Lüleburgaz City Council Youth Assembly Concert”
Within the scope of 2022 European Youth Year activities, our young people, consisting of the youth of our city, “Lüleburgaz City Council Youth Assembly Music Group”, organized a great concert.

At the Lüleburgaz Cycling Festival, which was organized during the European Mobility Week, the Trockya Blues group, which combined many musical disciplines and brought new works to the scene, took the stage. The performance of the Trockya Blues Group, which blends blues music and Turkish traditional music, attracted great attention.

Gazi Mustafa Kemal Cycling Road Race 1st Stage
In order to increase the awareness and visibility of the use of bicycles in Lüleburgaz Municipality, the “Gazi Mustafa Kemal Road Race”, in which more than 100 athletes participated, was held in two separate stages within the scope of European Mobility Week and 2022 European Youth Year events. The first stage of the race consists of 61 km.

“Life is Beautiful Together When We Hand in Hand”
Within the scope of European Mobility Week and Youth Year 2022, active and healthy life activities were organized with our children with special needs and their normally developing peers. Within the scope of the activities, it was aimed to develop the social and motor skills of children with special needs and to integrate them with children with normal development.
“Children's Street Activities”
Lüleburgaz Municipality reflects all the responsibility of being a child friendly city of UNICEF in all its works. Within the scope of the European Mobility Week, many sportive, artistic and cultural activities were planned in the children's street.
“Being Active, Staying Active, Aging Healthy”
A table tennis event was held within the scope of socializing with sports with elderly individuals staying at Ramazan Yaman old age asylum. Elderly individuals showed high interest in the event, and both sports and socialization were provided.
“Painting of Motorcycle Parking Areas”
As a result of the survey conducted by our municipality in each neighborhood, it was determined that the motorcycles parked on the sidewalks are an obstacle to our elderly citizens with special needs, and motorcycle parking areas were created at 11 points together with the citizens. Line painting process was carried out with the citizens of the park areas.
“White Cycle”
Let's turn the pedals of bicycles into freedom, not death. We organized an event to commemorate all our lost cyclist friends.
