Further info
The permanent measure is that of relocating the bus depot of the company on a terrain situated in the outskirts of the city, thus reducing gas emissions inside the city, creating new facilities for waste products disposal such as oils and filters, etc.
We mention the fact that at the present, the bus depot is situated inside the city. The local public transportation company wishes to contract a loan from a European bank in order to finance the construction of the new bus depot this year.
Car-free day
Sibiu carries out a Car-free day 2012 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
