Throughout the years of 2008 and 2009, the Town Hall of Videle achieved plating the existing pedestrian path along streets, thereby encouraging walking as an environmentally safe way of travelling.
Another permanent measure taken by Videle town is enforcement of bycicle and pedestrian paths in Furculesti neighborhood.
Car-free day
VIDELE, JUD. TELEORMAN carries out a Car-free day 2009 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
