Mosfellsbær organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2012, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Encouraging inhabitats to use environmentally friendly methods of travelling.
Organizing a gathering of cyclists in the centre of town that will cycle together from Mosfellsbaer to the capital Reykjavik city, meeting there with cyclists from all around the capital area.
Working with schools on a program to encourage pupils and teachers to walk or cycle to work.
Conference about the use of bicycles as a transport method.
Working with the main public transport company on projects encouraging people to use public transports more freqently.
