Permanent measures
Timisoara implements, planned or promotes one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

We will join in the European Mobility Week 2011 starting 16 and ending 22 September by:
- organising a week full of activities promoting the focal theme, i.e. encouraging local citizens to use alternative means of transport- walking, cycling, public transport,rollerblanding,
- closing roads in the downtown area between September 16- 18 and again on September 19 between 5p.m to 7 p.m
- organising a Bikecycle Fair on 17 th of September
- organising a Drawing and Photo Contest for children and adults to promote the focal theme
- closing the City Hall parking to encourage our employees to use alternative means of transport on September 22
