Durante la Conferenza European Mobility Week, il Comune di Palermo promuoverà il Piano della Mobilità Sostenibile già approvato e la prossima realizzazione di interventi per il:
- potenziamento del car sharinh
- istituzione del servizio di bike sharing;
- acquisto di flotte comunali composte da automezzi a metano ed elettrici;
- sistemi di controllo del traffico nella ZTL;
- potenziamento della flotta del trasporto pubblico con autobus a metano
- realizzazione di stazioni di rifornimento del gas metano per autotrazione per autobus, mezzi pubblici e privati

Palermo carries out a Car-free day 2012 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
