Gulbene organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
Day of security of pedestrians. Activity planned in 16. Of September after 17:00, when its starting to be darker. Volunteers and municipality workers will share some toys and other things with reflection elements. Aim of this action is to show society importance of using reflectors in dark part of day in autumn and winter.
17 September
Day of orienteering in Town. Main aim of a day will be show importance of active and healthy lifestyle. Participants will try to find some objects in the town using only photos. Participants who will be the fastest ones will win the race. Special attention we will show to the families with kids.
18 September
Cars free day in municipality. Aim of a day is to show municipality workers that Gulbene municipality take care about global warming. Also to show municipality workers that there is other solutions to come to job not only using personal cars.
19 September
Bicycle trip. Bike trip aim is go to investigate and explore local significant and historical places. Second aim of this trip is give possibilities to families and bicycle lovers to go around spend time together and have good time with active leisure.
20 September
Nordic walking. The aim is to show some places in Gulbene municipality by walking. To show that we can visit also some interesting places with foots.
21 September
Exhibition and testing of Green vehicles. Gulbene municipality have tradition each month organize “Green market”, where local farmers and farmers form region have possibility to sell their goods. In this date between Green market, will take place also green vehicles exposition where people will have possibility to test some transports with alternative engines.
22 September
Day without Car. In Gulbene municipality will closed one street where will take place some activities with bicycles. Activities will be more attached to kids and youngsters. There will be also some activities about safety on streets for pedestrians and bicycle riders.

Gulbene municipality made traffic lines in the areas where children live to take them to the school. Gulbene municipality give discounts of different groups of people for public transport.
