Further info
Every morning, from September to June, some streets of our Municipality are colored by the passage of children who go to school on foot... they are the children of the Piedibus!

What is the Piedibus?
The Piedibus is a safe, fun and healthy way to go to school
The Piedibus has an adult “driver” who opens the line and an adult “controller” who closes it
Children go to school in groups following a set route and picking up passengers at the “bus stops” along the way
The Piedibus travels in rain or shine and each child wears a reflective vest
Joining the Piedibus does not imply a constraint of attendance: each child can “take it” every day or just a few times a week
The Piedibus is a project that started with volunteer parents and needs the collaboration of other volunteers to continue and activate new routes
The Piedibus is a reality in several Italian municipalities, see the website www.piedibus.it
Information and registration for the service
There are currently three active lines, we are working to create a fourth line and thus guarantee all primary schools (ages 6-10) the walking accompaniment service.
