Lousã organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Organizing a week of activities at public and private schools, according to the main theme "sustainable mobility". From the 20th to the 24th september it will be held the following activities:

Awareness-raising actions at public schools - "Doctor Bike" - Students will take their bycicles to school and with the help of a Mechanic, they will have the chance to inflate or repair bike tires. This action intends to promote soft mobility transport means;

Violeta Stop - Lousã's traffic mascot - will take a lift in the public transport (URBLOUSÃ) and will be at the bus stop waiting for the school bus like other kids. She will take a ride to School nr1;

Launching ceremony of the national contest "Bike to school day" - Every last friday of the month, highschool students will be invited to enroll a team (3 to 6 members) and ride to school by bike, take a selfie and send it by e-mail. The team more regular will win summer vouchers. The winner team will be announced my mid-june;

GNR (municipal police) will be invited to patrol the school areas by horse;
