Tallinn organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
On September 16 a walking tour in the parks and gardens of Tallinn Old Town is organised. On September 18 a city orienteering event in the district of Uus Maailm is held. During the week other events that celebrate sustainable mobility are organised such as jogging events, running competition and mountain bike race. Additionally the mascot of the Sustainable Mobility Month organised yearly in Tallinn in September will visit more than 10 kindergartens in Tallinn to disseminate information regarding sustainable and safe mobility in a fun way.

Further info
We will open a new boardwalk in the protection area of Paljassaare, in northern Tallinn. This allows also people with reduced mobility to go into the nature area and learn more about the nature heritage in the area. It will also encourage people to use the boardwalk for other recreational purposes such as walks, riding a bike etc.

Tallinn carries out a Car-free day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
