Mantova organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
During the European Mobility Week Mantova will host a wide array of activities designed for many different targets (schools, adults, etc.). All the activities will be centered upon the focal theme of "our streets, our choice" and will adopt different approaches (education, theatre and animation, itineraries...).

- On 29/07/2014, Mantova's Town Council approved the Municipal Plan for Cycling Mobility;

- Expansion of the already existent 30 km/h zone in order to include the whole historical centre of the town;

- Creation within the municipal offices of a permanent operative unit for Cycling Mobility;

- Creation of a dedicated website (www.comune.mantova.gov.it/index.php/territorio/mobilita-ciclabile-territorio/mobilita-ciclabile, online from 09/12/2014).
