Campaign 'At Work with Bicycle'
In the framework of the European Mobility Day and the initiative to promote green movement and reduce pollution, the Municipality of Shkodra, in collaboration with the Regional Council of Shkodra and , the Prefecture of Shkodra Region announces the campaign.

The aim of this initiative is:
o To reduce the use of vehicles in urban areas.
o To increase awareness of the environmental and health benefits of walking, cycling, and public transport.
o To promote a cleaner city for everyone.

On this day, promotional videos will be published and leaflets with information on bicycle usage will be distributed, where citizens will share their opinions on how bicycles impact them and what we can do to further promote it. All citizens will be informed about the awareness and benefits of using bicycles by contributing to a better city.

Employees of public and private institutions, students of schools, and all other citizens will be invited to join in this journey towards a sustainable environment.

Campaign promoting safe cycling in city school
The Municipality of Shkodra will launch an awareness campaign in 10 schools on purpose, an awareness campaign will begin in 10 schools aimed at informing students about the importance of cycling while also promoting the use of helmets and safety equipment during cycling. During visits to schools, students will be offered educational information and practical examples. This campaign aims to increase support and the active participation of students in cycling and the use of protective accessories while cycling. Any information received at an early age can ensure life and health at any age.

Shkodra, the City of Bikes
In Shkodër, the bike is more than just a means of transport, it is a symbol of culture and lifestyle. Such a thing has influenced the creation of a particular image for Shkodra, as a city oriented towards urban sustainability and a healthy lifestyle, friendly to the environment. The Municipality of Shkodra expresses its commitment to the creation of the infrastructure suitable for pedaling and promoting the use of bicycles as a sustainable and healthy way of transport.

For this purpose, the Municipality of Shkodra will design a mural in the center of the city, on the subject of the bike and its history. This mural will be dedicated to European Mobility Week.

Various entertaining games for children aged 5 to 10 will be intertwined with educational ones, to familiarize them with the many benefits that using a bicycle brings, such as: animated games. colorful asphalt coloring, laps with children's bicycles, We learn to fix the bicycle, demonstration of first aid, performance with the children of Taekwondo Vllaznia, tennis, table tennis, chess, etc.

Campaign 'Bicycle lanes, the importance of their use'

The video will consist of the promotion of cycling through the dedicated lanes. This video will contain statistical data on the use of bicycles in Shkodër, the importance of using dedicated bicycle lanes, citizens who use bicycles on a daily basis, children, young people, families, professionals, etc, the importance of using them for a clean and orderly environment, etc.
