Bistrita organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
16th – 22nd of September -
LOCAL PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY:
”Publi - bicycle”;
European Campaigns TRAFFIC SNAKE GAME and MOBI;
European project “CitiZEN”;
Educational Activities „ Intelligent mobility. Powerful economy” at the GREEN SCHOOL;
Saturday – the 17th of September, 9:30 h:
„Belgium cyclists in the aid of Romanian elders” - 5 Belgium cyclists go 1000 km in 10 days to promote the necessity of
home care in Romania.
All the actions are accomplished together with the Public Health Department Bistriţa-Năsăud and Environment Protection Agency Bistriţa-Năsăud

Car-free day Car-free day

Bistrita carries out a Car-free day 2016 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
