Amadora implements, planned or promotes one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Pedestrianisation
Extension and creation of pedestrian urbanways in a residential area and inside a greenpark. Final project of an extension to a train/subway station.
Public transport services
Related to an extension of a subway line to a train station, a project was executed ceating new bus stops, reestruturing the pedestrian acess to the station, parking and car circulation.

Car-free day Car-free day

Amadora carries out a Car-free day 2015 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
