We start the "European Mobility Week" by proposing to the citizens of Aiud to rediscover tourist attractions of Aiud as a tourist, in other words "In the city without a car" - to use the bicycle, public transport or walking , instad of their own car, the purpose being reducing air pollution.

There will be 2 competitions between the groups of all kindergartens within the area of ​​Aiud
I. From 10:00 am, sports competition with an ecological education component. The competition will take place in the inner courtyard of the Kindergarten with extended program no. 2
            During the action:
            There will be marked two colors for children to run, bypassing, jumping obstacles on the route, and at the end of the lanes there will be a small pile of recyclable waste (paper, plastic, aluminum doses, bottles), from which the competitor will take any waste and he will deposit it in one of the 3 colored containers corresponding to each type of waste, located at the end of the corridor, then he will run back on the same route. The "Start" point coincides with the "Finish" point of the route.
     The winner is the team that will finish in the shortest time.
II. From 11:00 am a bicycle and scooter competition on Mihai Viteazu Boulevard, on a distance of 50 m between groups from all kindergartens within the municipality.
     At the end, all children will be awarded with a diploma

Starting at 8:00, there will be a sanitation in Sloboda Forest, carried out by volunteers, citizens of Aiud and public officials from the mayor's own apparatus and subordinate institutions.
Also in Sloboda Forest, the existing household waste deposit will be decommissioned, by a group of volunteers, persons deprived of liberty within the Aiud Prison.

From 10:00 am, under the slogan " Walk with us!", The children's march from the kindergarten , through Iuliu Maniu square, to the City Hall of Aiud. On the route described children will promote walking, cycling and use of public transport instad of their personal car, sharing flyers and supporting the cause through representative banners. The Aiud Municipal Police will organize for the little ones a brief "information campaign" on healthy behavior in pedestrian traffic.

Between 12:00 - 16: 00 We invite the citizens of Aiud, in the City Hall, where will take place an Exhibition with the theme "Let's imagine the vehicles of the future". The students from all the schools of Aiud will draw the way they imagined the vehicles of the future.

From 10:00 am, in front of the town hall, mountain bikers are invited for a race through Sloboda Forest, with a short stop at the picnic spot, located in the area called "At Edge", where it will take place a competition between the present.

We conclude the European Mobility Week 2019, with a walk in the Aiud Municipal Park and with a visit to one of the oldest museum in Romania - The Museum of Natural Sciences, the access for citizens of Aiud it is free between 14:00 - 16:00.
