Zalau organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2006, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Closing of one part of the main boulevard of the city for 12 hours (8 o'clock in the morning until 8 o'clock in the evening), during 1 August and 1 October, every Sunday.
Organizing different contests for children and youth (athletics, bike, rolller, etc.)

Zalau carries out a Car-free day 2006 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
