Legnano organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

The Municipality of Legnano will organize two days (Sunday 11 Sept.- Sunday 23 Oct) closing the enlargedcentral area where it'll be possible to travel only by bus, taxi or bicycle. The initiative is called "Town life - Sundays on foot".

Nel corso del 2016 nell'ambito della realizzazione del Pgtu Piano Generale del traffico Urbano - verranno create le prime Zone 30 di "pacifica Convinenza". Inoltre verrà creata una nuova ZTL (Zona a Traffico Limitato) nei pressi della Stazione Ferroviaria. Inoltre verrà realizzata entro luglio la messa in sicurezza e la riqualificazione di un viale di importante collegamento con l'Autostrada e altre realtà abitative della zona. Verranno sistemati i marciapiedi per renderli più sicuri (in particolare per i disabili). Verranno asfaltate le strade dopo diversi anni per rendere più sicura la mobilit anche dei ciclisti. Inoltre è in progetto per la prima volta un progetto - coordinato con le altere città della zona - di Bike Sharing. Per quanto rigurda il servizio Bus (TLP - Trasporto Pubblico Locale) sono previste a partire da settembre miglioramemnti sulle linee di trasporto con la creazione di una nuova circolare che permetterà di integrare il servizio cittadino verso l'Ospedale. Inoltre abbiamo aderito ad un finanziamento regionale per integrare tecnologicamente i bus in dotazione attraverso l'apposizione di sistemi di videosorveglianza, conteggio passeggeri ed altro.
