Община Стара Загора отправя призив към служителите от общинската администрация и гражданите да подкрепят кампанията като се възползват от алтернативни начини за придвижване в градска среда.

Община Стара Загора изпълнява проект за интегриран градски транспорт, чрез който закупува 14 нови тролейбуса и 55 нови автобуса. Спирките на градския транспорт се рехабилитират изцяло, въвежда се телематика, обновява се въздушно-контактната мрежа на тролейбусите, внедрява се интелигентна система за управление на трафика. Изграждат се близо 8 км велоалеи.
94 са изпълнените пешеходни пътеки тип „зебра" по метода червено-бял структурен студен пластик. Поставени са изкуствени неравности в близост до училища и детски заведения и светофари „Бягащ пешеходец“ на улици с голям трафик. Общо 10 627 кв.м хоризонтална улична маркировка ще бъде поставена до края на годината.
