Perechyn organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2011, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
This year is the first EMW year for Perechyn city. Therefore it is planned to widely inform public about the initiative and carry out different activities dedicated to change of perception of local people and visitors of the city on issues of urban mobility and how it can be changed.

Perechyn implements, planned or promotes one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Public transport services
Improvement and extension of the public transport network (creation of HOV lanes for public transport modes, new stops, new lines, reserved areas etc) implemented
Further info
Permanent measure implemented this year was building of bus stops along the main street of Perechyn city (and at the same time it is interregional automobile road). This year there are 3 new bus stops in the places, where there were no before. This makes possible for people to have better and shorter access from the public transport stops to their living places.

Car-free day Car-free day

Perechyn carries out a Car-free day 2011 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
