Ulice Tyršova a Studentská v Karviné-Mizerově a ulice Žižkova a Einsteinova v Karviné-Hranicích byly zařazeny do Zóny 30 – zklidnění dopravy. V ulici Studentská navíc město umístilo retardéry. Dále byla bezbariérově upravena světelná křižovatka u Zimního stadionu v Karviné-Fryštátě (snížení obrubníků, prvky pro slabozraké).
