Město bylo zapojeno do projektu Bezpečná cesta do školy. Podle výsledků dotazníku, ve kterém děti i rodiče hodnotili dopravu dětí do škol a bezpečnosti dětí při cestě do školy, byla stanovena opatření, která by měla snižovat rizika při cestách dětí do škol.
