Das 'Forum für Umwelt und gerechte Entwicklung' (FUgE) zeigt in seinen Räumen an der Widumstraße 14 eine Ausstellung zum Thema „Klimawandel und Verkehr“.
Am 27./28.08.2008 finden in Hamm die Westfälischen Nahverkehrstage in Hamm statt. Organisiert wird die Veranstaltung zum Thema: "Klimawandel - Chancen für den Nahverkehr?" vom NWL (Nahverkehr Westfalen Lippe).
