S'ha instal.lat un punt de càrrega elèctric a la zona del pavelló municipal per tal d'incentivar l'ús dels vehicles elèctrics. Per donar exemple l'Ajuntament de Besalú va comprar un vehicle elèctric que utilitza la brigada municipal.
Fa un temps es van posar pilones per accedir al casc antic. La circulació en aquesta zona ha baixat molt però encara no està activat al 100% cosa que es farà aquest any amb la contractació dels agents cívics de control
