Depuis le 1er janvier 2008, limitation de la vitesse à 30 km/h sur l'ensemble des voies communales afin d'améliorer le cadre de vie et d'assurer la sécurité de tous: piétons, 2 roues et automobilistes.
Cette mesure s'inscrit dans l'agenda 21 mis en place par la ville qui permet à chacun d'être acteur du développement durable en réduisant l'émission de gaz à effet de serre et de mieux respirer.
