05 - Gap organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2010, taking into account the annual theme.

Parce que les déplacements domicile-travail pèsent lourdement dans la circulation automobile de Gap, la Ville de Gap, le Conseil Général, le centre Hospitalier et les services de l’Etat réfléchissent ensemble aux conditions de déplacement de leurs 2 600 salariés travaillant au centre-ville.


Un Plan de Déplacements Inter Administrations (PDIA) est en cours de réalisation pour tenter de réduire et d’améliorer les déplacements liés au travail en incitant à l’utilisation de la marche à pied, du vélo, des transports en commun voire du covoiturage.

Parallèlement, la collectivité continue à développer son réseau gratuit de bus urbain Linéa et à mettre en place une politique vélo globale avec l'implantation de plus de 350 places de stationnement sécurisé, la création de plus de 15 km d'aménagements cyclables et l'incitation à l'usage du covoiturage et du Vélo à Assistance Électrique, très adapté à des territoires de montagne comme Gap.
