Activities within the week Activities within the week

Nantes Métropole organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
The week of activities organized during the European Mobility Week is organized around a "mobility village" in the heart of Nantes, along with entertainment and promotional offers directly related to the 2014 theme.

The bike will be particularly highlighted with the presence of:
- Associations for cycling promotion, offering bike maintenance and repair and free bike coaching for new cyclists.
- The main operators for short, medium and long term rental (self service bike rental “Bicloo”, medium and long term rental proposed by EFFIA and NGE, foldable bikes “cyclotan” rental in combination with PT season tickets) who will offer demonstrations accompanied by promotions.

In addition and in the context of the launch of Phase 2 of the LIBERTAN smartcard (post payment giving access to public transport) the self service bike rental system “Bicloo” and the car sharing system “Marguerite” will be especially highlighted to showcase their integration into the smart card.

Finally, visitors will be invited to discover the new carpooling webplatform and the new mobile apps through various activities. Specific events will also be offered to companies involved in travel plans (urban bike rides, etc.).

LIBERTAN smart card Phase 2: launched in 2012, Libertan is a post payment smart card offering access to the public transport system. In September, new features will be added to the card with the integration of the self service bike rental system (Bicloo) and the car sharing system (Marguerite) to encourage the combined use of alternative mobility modes.
