The development of the Swansea Metro (with ftr) bus is ongoing and the development of a series of priority bus ways will be highlighted by a number of the events, again promoting sustainable travel, not only during European Mobility Week, but throughout the year.
Car-free day
Swansea carries out a Car-free day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
