Grevena organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2022, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
First day of activities
10:00- Traffic police officers will hand out leaflets to drivers and pedestrians about mobility, traffic code...
16:00- "ΜάθεTennis!" (learntennis) (Everybody can play tennis, gymnasts of the local tennis club will be there to teach you)
* at the end there will be a raffle for a bicycle sponsored by the group GEK TERNA
17 September
10:00- BREAD &N SWEETS FESTIVAL at Giannakopoulos flour indudtry
15:00 -Εvent in honor of Seirines and Makedonikos, local, football teams.
-Free style footbal by John Harizopoulos
- Friendly footbal match, Seirines - Paok Koila Kozanis
18 September
10:30- “The whole square; a playground”, in cooperation with the local volley club we organized mini volley for kids at the central square.
11:00- Confidence game for young children. by thw Psychologist Froso Petrentziou.
12:30- Kangoo jumps by the gymnast Stella Bakaloumi
* at the end there will be a raffle for two bicycles sponsored by the group GEK TERNA

10:00- Students visit the archaiological excavations of Agios Georgios
10:00-12:00- Traffic lessons for students by traffic police officers at the Town hall.
21:00- OUTDOOR CINEMA, Fardykampou street will be pedestrianized and
an outdoor cinema will be set up.

10:00- Paleontology center of Milia. Students will visit exhibitionand after that we will create the tusk with recycable material.
10:00-12:00- Traffic lessons for students by traffic police officers at the Town hall.
18:00-20:00- Face painting at the Mushroom park by Maria Katsatsarou- Beauty art.
18:00-19:00- Εxperiential approach to the sport of boxing at the Mushroom park. Co- organizer: Athletic club Elimeia.
19:00-20:00- Wellness classes (yoga) at the Mushroom park. Co- organizer: TREE HEALTH - THEODORA TZALONIKOU

20:00: “Street musicians roar the city”. Makedonomahon street will be pedestrianized, street musicians set a small celebration.

16:00- Kids athletics by the gymnastic club at tha Athletic stadium "Miltos Tentoglou"

20:00- Traditional night with pontian cuisine and music at the mushroom park.

The sustainable urban mobility plan of Grevena is officially the first in the country to be approved with the 326035/17.11.2021 (ΑΔΑ:ΩΜΣΡ465ΧΘΞ-ΠΘΑ) Misterial Decision and obtained ΦΕΚ 5756/Β/10.12.20

1. Restoration and reconstruction works of the external walls in the Mushroom Park are in progress and educational games were created on the ground.
2. Improving night visibility with the installation of new LED lights on the road from Kokkinia to Polydendro .
3. Replacement of old and energy-consuming lamps and replacement with new led type ones in main streets of the town. The relevant Deed entitled "Energy Upgrade of the Street Lighting Network of the Municipality of Grevena" is part of the Operational Plan for Strategic Sustainable Urban Development (SSDAA) prepared by the Municipality of Grevena, with the main aim of saving critical and necessary resources, protecting the natural environment, supporting the local economy and of course the substantial improvement of citizens' lives.
