The measures implemented this year in order to favor puplic transport, walking and cycling are:
- enhaced signage and telematics at the bus stops
- implementation of wider pavements through reducing the width of the street available for motorised transport in main streets
- installation of new traffic lights
- implematation of traffic calming measures (speed reducers)
- creation or wheelchair ramps
- sound devices in traffic lights, etc.

Car-free day Car-free day

kyparissia carries out a Car-free day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
