Kungälv organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Kungälv municipality will publish information about activities taking place as part of the European Mobilityweek on www.kungalv.se, advertise the events in local/social media, as well as publishing information on the intranet portal for local government employees.
18 September
Free bike service/repair in the afternoon, during which municipal representatives inform on sustainable mobility, and promoting new bikelanes at eventtables/tents in local square. Representatives from the national federation for roadsafety participate with showcasing bikehelmets.
20 September
Distribution of goodiebags at Kungälv and Ytterby central station. Goodiebags contain snacks, bikerelated merch, map of cyclepaths in the municipality and information/tips on how to travel sustainably by bike or public transport.

Evening bike-tour guided by representatives from the tourist office of southern Bohuslän.
22 September
The week finishes with a grand bike-parade through Kungälv city centre
