Koprivnica organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2008, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
1. Promotion of the green suburban recreational area as a contribution to the improvement of the air quality
2. Promotion of a new children's playground and the existing green spaces, parks and playgrounds
3. Planting 100 rose-bushes along the railway station fence in the length of 500 meters
4. Composting - lectures, brochure presentation, public presentation of municipal composting site
5. Promotion of renewable energy production units ( windpower and photovoltaic units)
6. Planting 60 trees along the new cycling tracks ( 10 km)
7. Weekly competitions for schools ( Class marathon/ Around the world in a week) and businesses ( To work without my car;Friday Car Fast)

Koprivnica carries out a Car-free day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
