Chiampo organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2013, taking into account the annual theme.

We want to propose a large number of initiatives in favor of citizens to promote the use of sustainable mobility and to reduce the environmental impact and pollution on the air of the valley of Chiampo, already heavily affected by the emissions resulting from the activities of the tanning industry, that characterizes local territory.

The following measures will be activated permanently:
-pedestrianization of the central square of Chiampo during the weekends to give citizens an associative space for socialization and free of traffic and pollution. We have also created a special website for the service

- Activation of a special public transport, in collaboration with , for workers along the way from the high valley to the industrial hub, until now completely absent

- Enlargement and empowerment of the walking bus service called "Piedibus" for the transportation of pupils in schools with the help of volunteers

Chiampo carries out a Car-free day 2013 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
