1) After an experimentation held in may and june 2013, the Pedibus will start officially on monday the 22nd opf september. The Pedibus ("walking bus") is a safe and amusing way for schoolchildren, chaperoned by parents, policemen and road patrol grandads, to walk to school. The fixed route, with designated "bus stops" and "pick up times", follows mainly pedestrian roads, large sidewalks and safe crossroads which were designed by the recent "Percorsi casa- scuola" project. This project mainly focused on reallocation of car space in favour of wider sidewalks, cycling ways and on traffic calming (arrival platforms, traffic signals, lower speed limits and digital road signs).
2)Three new cycling ways have been designed in the last year, to improve the cycling net in the municipality territory.
