Kuldiga organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2011, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
There will be organized event of bicycle orienteering by Local Government of Kuldīga on 22nd September. The route will be elaborated specially for this event. It will helps not only get acquainted with more beautiful objects of Kuldīga but also will goes by new bicycle lanes. There also will be organized a weekend bicycle race along more beautiful places of Kuldīga on 24th September.

Several new bicycle lanes have been built. There were developed several new routes of bicycle tourism too. It is planned to develop a pedestrian and bicyclists friendly project.

Car-free day Car-free day

Kuldiga carries out a Car-free day 2011 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
