A new dedicated cycleway is being officially opened on 16th September which is a permanent reallocation of road space in favour of cycling. During the week the Griffeen Way Green Route - a route dedicated to cycling and walking through one of the council's regional Parks will be officially opened.
Car-free day
Tallaght carries out a Car-free day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
