Several activities will take place on Saturday. One street normally used by cars will be closed to traffic and transformed into a space with events and information encouraging more sustainable ways of traveling.

School pupils reimagine a car-free street
Pupils from grade 6 were invited to participate by sharing ideas and creating artworks or other visual expressions that reflect how they would like the street to look without cars. Their contributions will be exhibited in the area during the local Culture Night.

Promoting sustainable travel through engagement and giveaways
To encourage more sustainable mobility choices, we will engage with citizens in public spaces in Viken to talk about mobility and raise awareness. People who arrive by bike, foot, or public transport will receive small giveaways such as bicycle helmets, reflectors, local cycling maps, bananas, and pieces of chocolate as a fun reward for traveling sustainably.

Mobility Quiz Trail
This activity consists of an informative quiz trail aimed at increasing awareness of safe and sustainable mobility. Participants will move between checkpoints where they receive practical tips on topics such as safe use of electric scooters, benefits of cycling, and using public transport. The trail is designed to be educational and engaging. Participants who complete the trail and answer the questions correctly will be eligible to win prizes.

School Mobility Sessions – Grades 4–6
Students in grades 4–6 will take part in a school session focused on safe use of electric scooters. The visit includes a short educational film and a discussion about traffic rules, safety tips, and responsible riding.
