Go to school competition Beintøft
The Go to school competition Beintøft takes place during the Mobility week. And we encourage all primary schools to participate. The best school and the best classes at each level receive prizes from Stavanger kommune.

Be active on your way to the home match of Oilers
Our local Icehockey club "Oilers" has a home match on September 19 and is positive to collaborate. Everybody walking, taking the bycycle or bus will get something from Oilers (drinking bottle or sitting map). We will use one of the best players to front the Mobility week in Stavanger.

We will hand out breakfast at three mornings to people walking, taking the bike or buss/train to work and school.

Cycling course for adults
We offer cycling courses mainly aimed for women with a minority background. On our courses, participants practice basic cycling skills.

Following input from residents on facebook (we aks where the people want a bench), three new benches will be set out and launched during the Mobility week.

Free bicycle service
Free bicycle service for residents in all nine municipal districts in Stavanger. We are using school yards and professional repairmen. Residents come and line up for the service.

Several pleasant messages will appear on pavements around the city., including "Thanks for walking. Regards, Stavanger kommune".

Stavanger kommune wants to set out an dlaunch several bycyclelockers. Which gives cyclists access to secure bicycle lockers located around the urban environment, which are opened and closed with the phone. The bicycle lockers are based on so-called "narrowband" technology, which means that they do not need a power supply or other infrastructure.
