Deva organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2008, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Information and education campaigns in schools, related to the negative effects of pollution on the peoples health and on the environment;
March of the bicyclers in the city center to promote the alternative means of transport;
Distribution of information materials, fliers, etc. to raise the awareness of preserving the environment healthy;
Sport competitions for school children (bicycles, skateboards, rollers) in order to develop and encourage the use of the alternative means of transport;

Targets of the project on short, medium and long term:
- to encourage the citizens to use the nonpolluting means of public transport,
- to promote a healthy environment and a healthy lifestyle,
- to raise the awareness of the citizens on the necessity of living in a clean, non-polluted city, etc.
