Velenje organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Carrying out a "Car-Free Day" event on 16 September by closing one or more streets to traffic, and instead opening it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
- Organized cycling and walking for pupils, childer and adults
- During the Pipi longstocking festival we organize quided cycling and walking to the event area and back (for the whole week)
