Dubnica nad Váhom organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2014, taking into account the annual theme.

V rámci Kampane za čistejšie ovzdušie-na podporu trvalo udržateľnej mobility v mestách sa budeme snažiť propagovať výhody nemotorových foriem dopravy pričom zapojíme aj našich zamestnancov do týchto aktivít, ktorí v týždni ETM budú uprednostňovať alternatívne formy dopravy do zamestnania (bicykel, pešia dochádzka, hromadná doprava....). V tomto týždni zintenzívnime propagáciu a myšlienku tejto kampane všetkými dostupnými prostriedkami - webová stránka mesta, Dubnické noviny, mestský rozhlas a akciami na školách.

Vzhľadom na prehustenú premávku máme v pláne "ukľudniť" dopravu formou zjednosmernenia komunikácií v meste. Zjednosmernenie sa bude týkať ulíc: Moyzesova, A.Kmeťa, Murgašova a Gagarinova. Touto úpravou zabezpečíme dostatočnú plynulosť a bezpečnosť cestnej premávky, čo bude prospešné aj pre peších a cyklistov.
