Okullarda Avrupa hareketlilik haftası ile ilgili öğrencilere ve öğretmenlere bilgilendirmeler yapılacaktır.

Farkındalık oluşturmak için Van ilindeki bisiklet federasları, bisiklet dernekleri ve aktivistler ile birlikte Tuşba İlçesinden başlayup yine Tuşba ilçesinde bitecek şekilde Van Gölü turu düzenlenecektir. Bisikleti olmayıp etkinliğe katılmak isteyen kişilere belediyemiz tarafından bisiklet tahsis edilecektir. 430 km lik yol 2 günde tamamlanacaktır. Etkinliğe katılan kişilerin yemek, su vb ihtiyaç giderleri belediyemiz tarafından karşılabacaktır.

Avrupa Hareketlilik Haftası ile ilgili farkındalık oluşturmak için resim yarışması düzenlenecektir. Yarışmaya katılımın arttırılması ve daha çok katılımının sağlanarak daha geniş kitlelere hitap etmesi için yarışmada ilk üçe girenlere belediyemiz tarafından bisiklet hediye edilecektir

Van Tuşba İlçesinde yapımı tamamlanan 5 KM'lik yol 22 Eylül'de trafiğe kapatılarak sadece bisklet ve yay geçişine açılacaktır. Böylece Avrupa hareketlilik haftasına destek vermek amacıyla arabasız gün olarak kutlanacak ve sosyal medya hesaplarından paylaşılarak yerel ve ulusal basında kamuoyu oluşturulması sağlanacaktır.
