町内事業所の参加のもと、仮想路線バス、徒歩・自転車、既存公共交通の活用などによる「１日車を使わない通勤生活」に取り組む。「カーフリーフェスタin日野」「日野駅ライトアップコンサート」を開催し、車を使わない生活の愉しみ、街なかでのにぎわいづくりに取り組む。
