Workshop “Safe and eco-friendly Kharkiv streets: creating new values for the postwar recovery of the city's streets”
At the workshop, Participants ( NGOs, municipal representatives and citizens) will work together to develop a scheme for the pedestrian center of Kharkiv and discuss which streets should become pedestrianized. Participants will develop different scenarios of street reconstruction to make them safer and more environmentally sustainable after postwar recovery.

On September 20-21, One of the central streets will become a pedestrianized for the Car-Free Day in Kharkiv.
For a few days, we will test this street: we will ride the first temporary bike lane in the center, create a parklet from old road signs, see a photo exhibition about sustainable mobility, take part in a workshop survey about future infrastructure, and children will be able to receive road safety training from the police.
