Håbo organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2023, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Daily photo contest with information about the location of the day.
Take your bike to the store for a good deal on fika.
Promote cycling and the municipality by handing out saddle covers by the train station.
Send out material and information about "Trafikkalendern" to all schools in the municipality.
Promote external initiatives and events.
Online and irl gathering with quiz and information about Doodlebugs (A-traktor) at youth centers.
19 September
"Mobilitetsdagen" - All of the 5th graders gather to learn about sustainability, mobility and how to behave in traffic through active learning.
21 September
Preliminary inauguration of the new walk/bicycle path to Skokloster (permanent measure)
22 September
Inform about the international car free day!

Permanent measures Permanent measures

Håbo implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)
Pedestrianisation
Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
Public transport services
Improvement and extension of the public transport network (creation of HOV lanes for public transport modes, new stops, new lines, reserved areas etc)

Planned inauguration och the new walk/bicycle path during the week. If this is not possible the municipality has built another walk/bicycle path during the spring of this year which will be counted towards the permanent measure.
