Linköping (Linkoping) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2015, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Saturday 19 sep we arrange a sustainability party in a the street. Sustainable urban planning, art, food, culture and sustainable transportation will fill the street instead of cars. The 22 sep we encourage cyclists and pedestrians by giving them an apple!

Linköping (Linkoping) implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day Car-free day

Linköping (Linkoping) carries out a Car-Free Day 2015 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
A centrel street called Platensgatan is closed to traffic on Saturday. This street is now lined with shops and restaurants. For our sustainability event they move out in the street. Cultural associations and other participants will turn up in the carfree street with different sustainable activities.
