Sárosd (Sarosd) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Between September 16, 2017 and September 22, 2017, the Local Government will organize programs with local educational institutions. In these programs we would like to draw the attention of the public and the children to alternative forms of transport. Our main goal is to raise the growing generation to environmental awareness.
This week, we are organizing a number of community programs that promote environmental awareness. For school children and kindergarten children we organize various skill competitions. We take a look at the environmentally conscious lifestyle. We organize exhibitions and draw the public's attention to the benefits of sustainable transport development

Car-free day Car-free day

Sárosd (Sarosd) carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
On September 22, 2017, several streets of the settlement will be closed off from motor vehicle traffic. We deliver the streets to the kids and the pedestrian and cyclists. "Sport" Street, "Atzél Béla" Street, "Szabadság tér" is closed from traffic.
By placing transparencies, let us draw attention to the importance of the Car Free Day. We organize a skill competition for families. Within the framework of the obstacle course, several settlements in the settlement can learn about the history and purpose of the Careless Day. In the afternoon, we will give a lecture to the people about the bicycle development plans of the settlement. During the day, we also organize a bicycle tour with nearly 100 participants, within which we announce the program in the surrounding settlements.
