Skurup organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2018, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
All week activities:
Family quiz walk in the city regarding sustainable transportation.
The Swedish national cycling advocacy organisation will together with Skurup municipality collect online form about how the citizens think about biking possibilities and issues in the municipality.
The local police will during the week be present out in the city and give out flyers regarding safe biking.
17 September
The Municipality will hold a campaign for its employees so that they will "mix and move" their way to work and take a pic as proof of this.
Closing of parts of a street and turning it into a skatepark and an urban outside meeting /chillout point will start on monday and last until friday.
18 September
The municipality will hand out seat covers at the trainstation and give coffee to those that are commuting by train/bus in the city of Rydsgård.
Some schools in the municipality are have a traffic day with various of activities to focus on biking.
The municipality will join the weekly meetings for newcomers and talk about the plans regarding cykling and sustainable transportation.
19 September
A streetband will welcome commuters in the morning at the train/bus station and the municipality will hand out seat covers and give out coffee.

The nantional organization for safe traffic will talk about the new apps that can be used for projects regarding childrens bikepath to school that will start this fall.

Students from Malmö university will hold a dialoge -workshop with citizens regarding sustainable transportation and possibilities for improvements in this area " What do people want?"

20 September
The regional bus/train company will be talking about the new app and give out giveaways.
