Mielec organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2018, taking into account the annual theme.
16 September
Contest "Collect transfers and win prizes" - using the transfer as part of a single ticket saved on the e - card, participants can win points. Participant with the biggest amount of transfers will win a main prize. Art contest for primary school students of grade I - III called "Bus of the future".
17 September
City tour by public transport for primary school students from grades I - III,showing the interesting places in the city. Combined with providing information on how to behave and use public transport. Selection of winners of the art contest for students from primary schools called" Bus of the future". The continuation of the contest "Collect transfers".

Free travel by public transport as part of the International Car Free Day, available to all interested.
22 September
Cycling excursion under the slogan"Mielec on the bike". The route leads bicycle paths located in the city. Contest"Collect transfers" - announcement of the winners and awarding them with a prize. A comperative action showing how much space on the road the cars occupy and how much bus, which would fit those people traveling by car. An attempt to establish a record of how many people will fit on the bus. A bicycle town was set up,also there was a stand called "Bicycle Hospital"- in which you could have done minor bike repairs for free or get help from an expert in this field. In the bicycle town there was also a number of the other attractions for the whole family as: sticking the bus with various stickers. After the end of the fun in the bicycle town, a special bus called "bus- party" drove along the streets of the city. In this bus everyone could play in the rhythm of music while traveling around the city.

Car-free day
Mielec carries out a Car-Free Day 2018 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
