During the celebration of the European Mobility Week 2023, a unique voice about urban mobility in Sarajevo will be heard from Sarajevo.
City of Sarajevo - City Of Sarajevo, Ministry of Transportation of Sarajevo Canton, Government of Sarajevo Canton, GIZ (ORF ETC) Energy, Transport and Climate Protection in South-East Europe, gathered together to tell the story of urban mobility in Sarajevo. Channels on social networks called Sarajevo Urban Mobility will present in one place all the activities related to the celebration of the European Mobility Week, as well as general information about urban mobility in Sarajevo throughout the year.
During this week, we want to talk and think more about urban mobility, raise the awareness of our fellow citizens about its importance.

The topic "Save Energy" will be covered throughout the European Mobility Week.

Our activities include: Bike Day- children's cycling competition, subsidies for citizens to buy a bicycle, promotion of sustainable means of transport through vouchers for citizens for Nextbike shared bikes, for beebee scooters, for e GO car sharing , free NextBike Day, ''Little schoolchildren pedestrians'' set of educational workshops in schools and kindergartens, ''Did you know?'' Campaign on social media, setting up an anti- vandal bike and scooter racks on 4 locations (school, hospital, faculty, Children's House), opening of Mobility Island (e charging station, bike parking, smart bench), Bike2Work campaign for institutions, organizations and companies, panel "Challenges of urban mobility and zero pollution in Sarajevo" , and panel discussion ''Save Energy'', announcement and presentation of new trams for Sarajevo, Tourist Rally, Car Free Day, and Electric Vehicles Fair.

App 1500 citizens applied for incentives for bike purchase. We distributed 153 vouchers each worth 100 KM which can be used in a Bike Shop during the bike purchase. 18 institutions took part in our Bike2Work Campaign, and drove bikes to work during the Mobility Week, and hopefully beyond that.
